Rud, Sarah, Doc, Randy,

Good afternoon! I hope that everyone is doing well and that graduation went off without a hitch. I saw the pictures on Facebook, it looked like it was a rainy day but an exciting one. I am reaching out to you because my company is looking to hire a new regulatory consultant and I wanted to know if you have any recommendations or if you could pass the job announcement around. I imagine that most of the graduated seniors have jobs, but if you know of any recent (or not so recent) grads looking for employment in the field of environmental or chemical consulting, we are in need of a new hire.

The job postings are on our website:

Some of the qualifications can be waived, for example the applicant may not need five years of experience, if the person is otherwise really perfect.

We are ready to hire someone tomorrow. They can either reach out to the contact person in the announcement or contact me directly. I am always trying to help my fellow G-burg Grads, and TSG is a great company to work for.

I will be back on campus this fall for our five (!) year reunion. I hope to see you then!

Hi everyone,

Are you looking for a full-time job? Asnika is leaving her job at Ohio State to go to grad school, and her position is now open. She thinks ES majors would be very good candidates. See below for details.

Hi Sara,

I am leaving my job here at Ohio State to go to grad school. Today was my last day. The Physics dept is looking for a replacement. I though may be someone at gburg might find this position interesting. The link to the job posting is

Although this job falls under the Physics dept, it is more of an admin position so one does not need to be a physics major. Some science background helps. I just wanted to pass along this job vacancy info to gburg folks.

Hi Sarah,

I ran into someone who wanted to pass along this job description to our alums and soon-to-be alums. They do not need a lot of experience but GIS knowledge would be good.

Good morning, Kay,

It was delightful to see you and Nell yesterday. Thank you for your offer to help spread information about the Land Conservancy’s upcoming job opening. This position might suit recent graduates or alumni of the environmental studies program. Attached is a short description that we are posting on job listing sites, with a link to the Land Conservancy website for more details. I went through an online process to try to get this position listed with the GC career services, but I have not received a confirmation that I was successful in that effort.

Thanks for your help with this, and best wishes as you complete the spring semester.
