Subject: REU Program – SCRiM Summer Scholars 2016

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are writing to ask for your help in spreading the word about an exciting undergraduate research opportunity.

SCRiM Summer Scholars is a competitive summer research experience sponsored by the National Science Foundation through the Network for Sustainable Climate Risk Management (SCRiM). Hosted on Penn State’s University Park campus, the program offers students the chance to participate in cutting-edge, transdisciplinary research at the intersection of climate science, economics, risk analysis, ethics, and decisionmaking.

Housing, travel support, and a stipend of $4500 is provided for all participants in the 9-week program. Students should apply by April 10th to receive full consideration. Please see the attached flyer or visit scrimhub.org/summer-scholars/ for additional information.

We kindly request that you forward the attached flyer to students in your department/program and post a copy of it where students might see it. If you are not the appropriate person to contact for this request, please email back to let us know.

Thank you for your help and support.

Sincerely,
Katerina Kostadinova
