Hello All,

I hope you had a nice weekend. I wanted to pass along an opportunity that I thought may interest some of your students who might still be looking for something to do this summer. I was just contacted by Assistant Professor Derrick Taff at Penn State who is searching for a field crew to help him conduct some research on the health effects of being in nature. He works in the department of recreation, parks, and tourism, and is looking to compare visitor responses at Gettysburg National Park and Catoctin Mountain Park. Students would live on Gettysburg’s campus and transportation to the work sites would be provided. He’s looking for help throughout July and August, and can be contacted directly for additional details and scheduling questions. The pay is $80/day, and you’ll be working about 7 hours a day, 4-5 days per week.

His email address is bdt3. I know he’d really appreciate it if you forwarded this along to those who might be interested. Thanks!
